Neumann Windscreen WS 2
The Windscreen WS 2 is designed to reduce close-range sounds, wind noise, and fast movements of the microphone boom that may cause interfering noises. It is made of open-cell polyurethane foam, which does not cause interfering resonances or affect the microphone's directional pattern. The windscreen attenuates wind noise by 24 dB and attenuates frequencies at 15 kHz by approximately 2 dB. The diameter of the windscreen is 80 mm, and it comes in black.
